Making a medieval costume for summer? Last year I made a dress for a medieval night during summer, but I got really overheated. Medieval Costume ideas for a Renaissance Festival? This Sunday I will be attending a local renaissance festival with a few of my friends, and I am certainly excited about it. There are actors who refuse to leave character and myriads of activities to suit all tastes (all of course dealing with anything medieval). The only problem is that I do not have a costume. Medieval attire is not necessary, however, this year, I would like to dress the part. Can anyone think of a costume I can create on a very small budget (I am a college student and would prefer to spend my change at the fair itself and not on my attire for the day)?
